Starting since the beginning of school most of our school has been reading the book called "The One and only Ivan". It is about a Gorilla named Ivan that lives in a circus cage in a mall alongside an Elephant named Stella and a dog named Bob. Then an Elephant named Ruby comes and so on. Anyway through out the year we have had to to a variety of things. Like writing down our questions and drawing or writing down things that you think are important from in the story. Well I will tell you some things that have really struck me hard. The quote it is never too late to be what you might've been, or I drew a "claw stick which is a sharp stick that is used to punish the animals if they don't do something that the owner of the mall named Mac doesn't like, or they simply refuse to do what Mac says. At one point I drew a picture of Bob (the dog) sleeping on Ivan's (the Gorilla) stomach at night time because Bob says he likes the way that Ivan's stomach rises and falls as he breathes.
